Sandalwood EO - Santalum album - from Sri Lanka - The thick fragrant oil from Sri Lanka is like the Mysore White sandalwood oil we remember from 20 years ago, rich, creamy, longlasting and just gorgeous.
I searched for years for a substitute for the Mysore Sandalwood that was ethically harvested. I found many oils of S. album from other countries that were ethically harvested, but did not posess the scent qualities of the original Mysore sandalwood. Treasure it - and if you can, store some away to age. Sandalwood oil is one of the few essential oils that can age beautifully, becoming deeper and richer in scent over time.
Vanilla absolute - Vanilla planifolia absolute made by the Old World method for perfumery with undenatured sugar cane alcohol in Madagascar with the hot vacuum process. Gorgeous, full-bodied and strong. I searched for years for a vanilla of this aromatic quality.
